Our Story

Nestled in the heart of Glasgow city centre, The Ark has long been a vibrant hub for locals, students, and visitors alike. Originally opened in the late 1990s as part of the "It's a Scream" pub chain—known for its bold yellow branding and student-focused atmosphere—The Ark has since evolved into one of the city’s most beloved venues.

Now operated by the Stonegate Group, The Ark is celebrated for having one of Glasgow’s largest beer gardens, complete with outdoor seating, large HD screens for live sports, and a relaxed yet lively environment.
